Dr. Clifford Jay is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist whose goal is to collaborate with his clients' and positively contribute to their success by improving performance, motivation, and customer loyalty and satisfaction through use of sound principles of measurement and practice.
Cliff's 20+ years of consulting have included positions at Aon and the Northridge Group. During this time Cliff has worked with a wide range of private organizations and government agencies, delivering best-in-class solutions in the areas of performance management systems, employee selection, job analysis and competency modeling, customer service effectiveness, statistical analysis and research design, management training, and leadership development.
Cliff is an active member of the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology. He received his PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from New York University. Cliff's dissertation, "Generalized Versus Direct Affect and the Effect of the Other's Behavior in Negotiation," focused on ways in which emotion and the other's negotiation style interact with each other to influence a negotiator's behavior.
Cliff is currently based in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area of Florida.
